MARIA HOUSE
In 2000, Maria House, a shelter for homeless women and their children, opened in the former St. Mary’s convent. Maria House is a program of the nonprofit organization Opening Doors.
EVENT CENTER/1st FLOOR
The first floor of the former church building will be renovated into a vibrant, multi-purpose space to hold events such as weddings, reunions, business/community meetings, cultural celebrations, and any other event needs.
APARTMENTS
The former school will be converted into a mixture of two and three bedroom, multi-family permanent, supportive housing and market rate units.
EDUCATION PROGRAMS
The ground floor of the former church building will be renovated into a multi-use space for outreach and educational programs.
OFFICE SPACE
The former rectory design includes Inn space, offices, meeting rooms and non-profit/community space.
COMMUNITY SPACE
A redesigned, expanded outdoor green space, gardens and playground will support the overall mission of Steeple Square.
